You may need to provide a wrench and some elbow grease and of course, a new faucet to replace your old one.
First thing you have to do is to remove your old faucet. Here’s how:
1. Make sure your sink has the right number of holes. If you are one-piece-kit, make sure that the holes are in appropriate places.
2. Turn off the water valves under the sink.
3. You will need a wrench to turn the nuts of the supply tube. Remove it and drain the supply of the tube.
4. Remove the faucet by taking out the washers and the nuts.
5. Clean the holes of the faucet and make sure that it is clean completely.
6. Read the faucet instruction and make sure there is no pre-assembly steps that should be taken.

Now you are finished removing the old faucet, it’s time to install new one. Here’s how bathroom faucet installation goes:
1. Read your new faucet instruction and make sure there is no pre-assembly steps that you need to take.
2. Place plastic gasket between your sink and the face plate. Plastic gasket usually comes together with the new faucet. If you are happened to not receive the plastic gasket, then what you have to do is create plastic gasket by yourself. You can create the plastic gasket with plumber’s putty.
3. Put a washer and a nut under the supply tube.
4. Connect the shut off water valves with supply tubes.
5. Read the instruction again, and find how to install the pop up mechanism. It is different for every faucet types.
6. Attach the pop-up mechanism with the lift rod.
7. Turn the water on and check if there is any leak. Repair the leak as soon as you find it by creating plastic gasket with plumber’s putty.
